Key Responsibilities
As a Customer Support Intern, you will be the primary contact for customers, delivering exceptional support through chat, calls, and emails. Your role involves diagnosing and resolving basic technical issues while escalating more complex problems to senior support teams. You will ensure timely and clear communication to maintain high customer satisfaction. Utilizing tools such as JIRA and the ZOHO platform, you will track and manage customer tickets, ensuring all concerns are properly documented and addressed. Additional responsibilities include providing remote software training, following up with customers to ensure effective software use, and handling complaints with patience and empathy. You will research customer issues, relay feedback to the development team, and maintain a thorough understanding of the company’s products and features. Adherence to company communication policies and procedures is essential. Success in this role requires strong problem-solving skills, a customer-first mindset, and the ability to manage multiple communication channels efficiently.
Required Qualifications
Candidates should hold a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field. Experience ranging from fresh graduates up to six months in client communication roles is acceptable. Excellent written and verbal English communication skills are mandatory. Proven experience interacting with customers via live chat, email, and phone calls is required. Familiarity with standard office software such as MS Office, and remote support tools like TeamViewer or call-center solutions such as Ring Central, is necessary. Additionally, proficiency in web-based technologies like Dropbox and Google Drive is expected.
Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
Preference will be given to candidates with experience in high-volume call center environments or those with an IT/technical background. Knowledge of ERP systems or prior work experience in a SaaS-based software company is also advantageous.
This internship is for a duration of three months and offers a stipend of 60,000 PKR per month, with the potential to transition into a full-time role. The position requires onsite presence from Monday to Friday, with working hours from 7 PM to 4 AM Pakistan Standard Time. The office is located in Jeff Heights, Gulberg III, Lahore.
