Internship QA

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented QA Intern to join our team in Bahria Town Lahore. This internship offers an excellent opportunity for individuals interested in software testing to gain hands-on experience and develop their skills in various QA processes and tools. The role involves working closely with developers and the QA team to ensure the quality and reliability of web and mobile applications. This is a paid internship for a duration of three months, operating during day shifts from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM. Candidates residing in Bahria Town Lahore or nearby areas are preferred, with a particular preference for male applicants based in Lahore.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in performing manual testing of web and mobile applications.
- Execute test cases and document test results accurately.
- Identify, report, and track software defects and issues using bug-tracking tools.
- Verify bug fixes and conduct regression testing to ensure software stability.
- Collaborate with developers and QA team members to understand project requirements.
- Participate in requirement reviews and contribute to test planning activities.
- Prepare and maintain comprehensive test documentation, including test cases and bug reports.
- Support the team in maintaining quality standards and improving testing processes.
- Learn and apply software testing best practices and QA methodologies under guidance.

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of Software Quality Assurance and Testing principles.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.
- Willingness to learn and work collaboratively within a team environment.
- Basic knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) is a plus.
- Familiarity with Jira or similar bug-tracking tools is advantageous.
- Proficient in English reading and writing.
