Inventory & Data Control Officer

Friends Food Export Co. is seeking a responsible and detail-oriented Inventory Officer to join their team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing inventory records, ensuring accurate stock control, and supporting the smooth operation of the company’s inventory processes. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with various departments.

Key Responsibilities
- Perform daily data entry of inventory transactions, including production records, stock receipts, and material issuance.
- Manage carton room inventory by overseeing stock receiving, issuance, and reconciliation activities.
- Handle the distribution of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to employees and maintain accurate individual issuance records.
- Monitor stock levels regularly and report any shortages or replenishment needs promptly.
- Conduct periodic physical stock verifications and report any discrepancies found during audits.
- Coordinate with relevant departments to understand and fulfill inventory requirements efficiently.
- Ensure proper implementation of the FIFO (First In, First Out) method for stock issuance and rotation to maintain product quality.
- Monitor stock movement, check expiry dates where applicable, and ensure appropriate storage conditions are maintained.
- Maintain proper filing and organization of both physical and digital inventory records for easy access and audit readiness.

Required Qualifications
- Minimum qualification of Intermediate level; a Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
- 1 to 2 years of relevant experience in inventory management, storekeeping, or data entry roles.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and MS Office applications.
- Strong record-keeping and organizational skills to manage inventory data accurately.
- High attention to detail, accuracy, and accountability in all assigned tasks.
