The Investment Specialist role is a full-time, on-site position based in Hyderabad. This position requires analyzing financial markets and evaluating Shariah-compliant investment opportunities to support the development and implementation of investment strategies for both clients and internal funds. The specialist will monitor portfolio performance, prepare detailed reports, and provide data-driven recommendations aimed at optimizing returns while managing risk within defined parameters. Daily tasks include conducting research on economic and sector trends, collaborating closely with asset management and Takaful teams, and ensuring all investments comply with Islamic finance guidelines and internal policies. The role also involves regular communication with internal stakeholders, contributing to investment committee discussions, and maintaining accurate documentation of investment decisions.

Key Responsibilities

- Analyze financial markets and evaluate Shariah-compliant investment opportunities to support strategic decision-making.
- Monitor portfolio performance and prepare comprehensive reports with actionable recommendations to optimize investment returns within risk limits.
- Conduct ongoing research on economic indicators and sector trends to inform investment strategies.
- Collaborate with asset management and Takaful teams to ensure alignment of investment activities with Islamic finance principles.
- Participate in investment committee meetings and contribute insights to support governance and compliance.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of investment decisions and portfolio adjustments.
- Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders to provide clarity on investment performance and strategy.

Required Qualifications

- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data, market trends, and portfolio performance metrics.
- In-depth knowledge of investments and investment management, particularly in Shariah-compliant instruments.
- Solid foundation in finance and investment strategies, capable of designing and supporting risk-aware, return-focused investment plans.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business, or a related field.
- Proficiency in financial analysis tools, MS Excel, and familiarity with portfolio management systems.
- Effective communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex financial concepts clearly to diverse audiences.
- Demonstrated integrity and adherence to Islamic finance principles, with the ability to work collaboratively in a structured, team-oriented environment.
