IT Administrator

We are seeking a dedicated IT Support & Network Administrator with 1 to 2 years of experience to join our team on a full-time, on-site basis in Islamabad (I-11/3). The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in IT support and network administration, demonstrating strong technical skills in managing network infrastructure and IT equipment. This role involves maintaining and troubleshooting hardware, software, and network systems to ensure smooth and secure IT operations within the company.

Key Responsibilities

IT Support: Provide technical assistance and support for computers, laptops, printers, scanners, software, and other IT equipment. Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and connectivity issues promptly to minimize downtime.

Network Management: Configure, monitor, and maintain network infrastructure, including LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, VPN, routers, switches, firewalls, and access points. Ensure network performance, connectivity, and bandwidth are optimized.

Server Management: Monitor server performance, availability, and security. Perform routine maintenance, updates, and troubleshooting to ensure servers operate efficiently.

IT Security: Maintain and update antivirus software, firewall configurations, security patches, and system updates to protect company IT assets from potential threats.

Data Backup: Conduct regular and secure backups of all company data, network, and server configurations to prevent data loss and ensure business continuity.

Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve issues related to hardware, software, network, and servers, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.

IT Asset Management: Maintain accurate records of IT assets, including network devices, licenses, warranties, and equipment. Coordinate with vendors for hardware repairs, software issues, and warranty claims.

Required Qualifications

- 1 to 2 years of experience in IT Support, Network Administration, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, VPN, and overall network infrastructure.
- Experience configuring and maintaining routers, switches, firewalls, access points, and other network devices.
- Proficiency in installing, configuring, and troubleshooting desktop computers, laptops, printers, scanners, and other IT equipment.
- Skilled in installing and updating software, drivers, antivirus, and security applications.
- Ability to monitor network and server performance, troubleshoot server-related issues, and maintain server security.
- Experience performing and maintaining backups of company data and network/server configurations.
- Familiarity with IT policies, security procedures, and access-control requirements.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
