IT and Network Administrator

De Risc Group is seeking a skilled Network Administrator to join our Information Technology team at our Bahria Enclave location. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in network administration, security, and system troubleshooting, with a focus on maintaining a secure, reliable, and high-performing IT infrastructure. This role requires a motivated professional who can effectively manage and optimize both LAN and WAN environments while ensuring robust network security and seamless connectivity.

Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, configure, and maintain computer networks, including LAN and WAN.
- Implement and uphold network security measures to safeguard against unauthorized access and cyber threats.
- Troubleshoot network connectivity issues and resolve performance bottlenecks promptly.
- Monitor network performance, bandwidth usage, and system availability to ensure optimal operation.
- Optimize network performance and manage Quality of Service (QoS) settings.
- Maintain accurate network configurations, diagrams, and technical documentation for reference and compliance.
- Develop and maintain network backup and disaster recovery plans to minimize downtime.
- Provide technical support to users and promote best practices in network security.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 3 to 4 years of professional experience in network administration or a similar role.
- Strong understanding of technical systems, computer networks, storage systems, databases, and security protocols.
- Experience working with WordPress, PHP, Laravel, MySQL, HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, Git, Linux, and GoDaddy applications.
