This position is designed to support the organization's technology infrastructure by providing technical assistance, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring the smooth operation of IT systems. The role involves maintaining hardware and software, assisting users with technical problems, and working closely with the IT team to implement system improvements. The successful candidate will play a vital role in minimizing disruptions and enhancing overall IT performance.

Key Responsibilities
Provide timely technical support to users experiencing hardware or software issues. Diagnose and troubleshoot technical problems efficiently to ensure minimal downtime. Assist in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of IT systems, including computers, networks, CCTV systems, and peripheral devices. Maintain accurate IT inventories and monitor system performance regularly. Support troubleshooting of connectivity issues and resolve network-related problems. Contribute to the implementation of cybersecurity measures such as antivirus programs and access control policies. Maintain comprehensive documentation for IT procedures, troubleshooting guides, and system configurations to support knowledge sharing and continuity.

Required Qualifications
Diploma of Associate Engineering (DAE) with a duration of three years or Intermediate in Computer Science, or an equivalent qualification. Candidates must possess practical skills in LAN, networking, and CCTV systems. A minimum of two years of relevant work experience is essential.

Preferred Qualifications
A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or Data Science is desirable. Candidates with three years of experience in related fields will be given preference.

Candidates must submit scanned copies of all academic and professional documents. The last education certificate or degree must be attested or verified by the Higher Education Commission (HEC). Applicants with a third division in their academic record or a weak academic profile may be deemed ineligible. Employees currently working at the institution with less than one year of service or without a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from their Head of Institution will not be considered. Candidates who are still pursuing the required degree or are medically unfit are also ineligible. Those serving in government departments or armed forces should apply through their respective parent organizations.
