The IT Auditor will play a critical role in evaluating the company’s IT systems, controls, processes, and security measures. This position involves identifying risks, control deficiencies, and compliance gaps while providing actionable recommendations to enhance the overall IT governance framework. The successful candidate will work closely with various departments to ensure IT operations align with internal policies and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct comprehensive audits of IT systems, applications, infrastructure, and related processes.
- Review IT general controls including access management, change management, backup procedures, and security controls.
- Identify IT risks, control weaknesses, and potential security vulnerabilities that could impact the organization.
- Examine user access rights to ensure proper authorization and segregation of duties are maintained.
- Assess compliance with internal IT policies, regulatory requirements, and relevant industry standards.
- Perform testing of IT controls and maintain detailed audit documentation and working papers.
- Prepare clear and concise audit findings and reports, offering practical recommendations for improvement.
- Monitor and follow up on corrective actions, tracking the closure of audit findings effectively.
- Support internal, external, and regulatory IT audits as necessary.
- Collaborate with IT, Security, Compliance, and other departments throughout the audit process to facilitate smooth communication and resolution of issues.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline.
- 2 to 4 years of professional experience in IT audit, internal audit, risk management, compliance, or information security.
- Strong understanding of IT controls, cybersecurity principles, access management, and risk assessment methodologies.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to document findings clearly and communicate effectively with stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits

- Familiarity with recognized audit frameworks such as COBIT, ISO 27001, or IT General Controls (ITGC) is highly desirable.
- Relevant professional certifications like Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), or ISO 27001 Lead Auditor are advantageous.
