This role involves the configuration, testing, and commissioning of various video and access control systems from leading brands such as Honeywell, Bosch, Milestone, and HID. The candidate will also be responsible for supporting IT network infrastructure, including troubleshooting LAN, WAN, and VPN environments. Additionally, the position requires managing and maintaining Windows Server environments and providing professional first and second-line technical support to customers. The role demands a blend of technical expertise, customer service skills, and the ability to work on-site.
Key Responsibilities
- Configure, test, and commission video surveillance systems including Honeywell, Bosch, and Milestone platforms.
- Configure, test, and commission access control systems from Honeywell, Bosch, HID, and similar providers.
- Implement and troubleshoot IT network infrastructure, focusing on LAN, WAN, and VPN environments.
- Provide first and second-line technical support to customers, ensuring timely resolution of issues.
- Manage and maintain Windows Server environments (2012-2019 Standard or Enterprise editions).
- Assist with firewall configuration and basic network security measures.
- Support integration and basic operation of video analytics, facial recognition (FR), and automatic number plate recognition (ANPR) systems.
- Demonstrate working knowledge of other Extra Low Voltage (ELV) systems and their integration.
- Maintain clear and professional communication with customers, including technical documentation and reporting.
Required Qualifications
- Mid-level experience in configuring and commissioning video and access control systems.
- Solid understanding of IT network infrastructure with practical skills in troubleshooting LAN, WAN, and VPN networks.
- Basic knowledge of firewall configuration.
- Experience in managing Windows Server environments (2012-2019 Standard or Enterprise).
- Strong customer service orientation with excellent communication and technical writing skills.
- Basic familiarity with video analytics, facial recognition, and ANPR technologies.
- General knowledge of ELV systems and their integration.
