We are seeking a skilled and proactive IT Executive to oversee and maintain our office IT infrastructure. This role requires hands-on management of networks, systems, cybersecurity, hardware, backups, and vendor relationships to ensure smooth and reliable IT operations. The ideal candidate will independently handle technical support, prevent downtime, and optimize system performance to support daily business activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain the company’s LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi, routers, switches, firewalls, VLANs, DHCP, and DNS configurations.
- Monitor network performance, internet connectivity, system uptime, and critical IT equipment to ensure continuous availability.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to computers, laptops, software, printers, Wi-Fi, IP phones, and other office technology.
- Administer Windows systems, Microsoft 365 accounts, software updates, endpoint security, and user access controls.
- Implement and maintain cybersecurity measures including firewall management, antivirus solutions, multi-factor authentication (MFA), and access control policies.
- Establish and monitor reliable data backup and recovery procedures to safeguard company information.
- Maintain and troubleshoot IP phones, PBX systems, CCTV, NVR/DVR, attendance systems, and other network-connected devices as needed.
- Conduct preventive maintenance and proactively identify potential IT issues before they impact business operations.
- Manage IT assets including equipment allocation, warranty tracking, replacements, upgrades, and inventory management.
- Support employee onboarding and offboarding processes, ensuring proper system setup, access provisioning, and equipment recovery.
- Keep accurate and up-to-date documentation such as network diagrams, IP address records, asset registers, configuration files, backup procedures, and other IT documentation.
- Coordinate with internet service providers, telecom vendors, hardware suppliers, and other IT service providers.
- Assist with IT procurement by recommending appropriate hardware, software, and networking solutions.
- Ensure critical IT equipment is protected with uninterruptible power supplies (UPS) or other power protection measures.
- Investigate major IT incidents, perform root cause analysis, document resolutions, and implement preventive actions to avoid recurrence.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience in IT infrastructure management, system administration, or network administration.
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, LAN/WAN, DHCP, DNS, VLANs, VPNs, Wi-Fi, and firewall technologies.
- Hands-on experience working with routers, switches, access points, and Windows operating systems.
- Solid understanding of cybersecurity principles, endpoint protection, backup strategies, and disaster recovery planning.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently.
- Strong documentation, communication, and organizational skills to maintain clear records and coordinate effectively.
Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
Experience with MikroTik routers, Grandstream IP phones, Microsoft 365 administration, Cloudflare services, ZKTeco attendance systems, CCTV/NVR setups, NAS devices, VPN configurations, and remote IT management tools will be considered an advantage.
Performance in this role will be measured by IT uptime, network stability, timely resolution of issues, successful backup completion, preventive maintenance effectiveness, cybersecurity compliance, accuracy of documentation, and reduction in recurring IT problems.
The position offers a monthly salary range of Rs 35,000 to Rs 40,000 and requires the candidate to work on-site.
