IT Hardware & Technical Support Officer

Pak Forex Academy (PFA) is seeking a dedicated and skilled IT Hardware & Technical Support Officer to join their team in Lahore on a full-time, office-based role. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and maintaining all office IT equipment, resolving technical issues promptly, and ensuring the seamless operation of computer systems and related hardware within the organization.

Key Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain desktop computers, laptops, printers, scanners, and other office IT devices.
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, and basic networking problems to minimize downtime.
- Maintain and manage LAN, Wi-Fi routers, switches, and internet connectivity to ensure stable network performance.
- Install Windows operating systems, drivers, software applications, and system updates as required.
- Diagnose and repair basic computer hardware issues efficiently.
- Organize and manage cables, monitors, keyboards, mice, UPS devices, and other IT accessories.
- Keep accurate records of IT inventory, equipment status, and repair logs for accountability.
- Provide timely technical support to office staff, ensuring all systems function properly.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, including backups and basic system security checks to safeguard data and equipment.

Required Qualifications
- Diploma or degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
- Practical experience in computer hardware troubleshooting and technical support.
- Strong proficiency in Windows installation, troubleshooting, and hardware maintenance.
- Basic understanding of networking concepts, including LAN, Wi-Fi, routers, and switches.
- Ability to independently identify and resolve technical issues with minimal supervision.
- Good communication skills combined with a responsible and proactive attitude.

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in assembling and upgrading desktop PCs to enhance office hardware capabilities.
- Knowledge of CCTV systems, biometric attendance devices, and UPS equipment is an advantage.
- Familiarity with remote support tools and basic IT asset management practices.
