IT Lab Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated Lab Support Technician to ensure the smooth operation and availability of laboratory equipment and software. The ideal candidate will provide timely assistance to users, maintain an organized lab environment, and support the installation and configuration of software applications aligned with curriculum or research needs. This role requires strong problem-solving skills to diagnose and resolve IT-related issues efficiently while maintaining accurate documentation of all reported concerns and resolutions.

Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure the proper functioning and availability of lab equipment and software by providing prompt support and assistance to users.
- Maintain an organized and efficient laboratory environment to enhance the overall user experience.
- Install and configure software applications on lab computers according to curriculum or research requirements.
- Diagnose and resolve IT issues reported by users in a timely and effective manner.
- Accurately document all relevant details of each complaint, including the diagnostic steps and resolution process.

Required Qualifications:
- Proven experience in supporting lab environments or IT support roles.
- Strong knowledge of software installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.
- Ability to manage and maintain lab equipment and ensure its optimal functioning.
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with users and documenting technical issues clearly.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to maintain an efficient lab setup.

Compensation and Work Location:
The position offers a monthly salary ranging from Rs41,000 to Rs48,000. This is an in-person role requiring the candidate to be physically present at the work location.
