IT Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled IT Manager to lead and oversee our IT department, ensuring the efficient operation of all information systems. In this leadership role, you will develop and implement strategies and policies to optimize IT management. You will supervise daily IT operations, support technical staff, and collaborate with senior management to discuss project timelines and budget needs. Additionally, you will be responsible for hiring, training, and managing new team members to maintain a high-performing IT workforce.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct regular computer system and data security checks to safeguard organizational information.
- Identify opportunities for software development and oversee related projects.
- Develop and enforce strategies, policies, and procedures to ensure effective IT system functionality.
- Manage recruitment, onboarding, and training processes for new IT employees.
- Organize and conduct workshops aimed at enhancing team skills and knowledge.
- Analyze computer networks and perform routine audits to maintain system integrity.
- Prepare and present regular IT performance reports to stakeholders.
- Coordinate project timelines and communicate progress to clients, senior management, and other stakeholders.
- Oversee resource allocation and manage the IT budget efficiently.
- Lead project managers and assign them to various IT projects.
- Review and implement system upgrades and new installations.
- Identify and troubleshoot hardware and software issues promptly.
- Collaborate with computer programmers to ensure reliable data backups.
- Test new IT software and systems to evaluate performance and compatibility.
- Develop disaster management procedures and assess technological risks to minimize downtime.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in roles such as IT Consultant, IT Coordinator, or similar.
- Strong knowledge of computer programming, network and data security, and various operating systems.
- Excellent analytical and critical thinking abilities.
- Proven managerial skills with the capacity to lead and motivate teams effectively.
- Sound decision-making skills and the ability to analyze complex information.
- Commitment to maintaining confidentiality of sensitive data.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to conduct thorough analyses.
