We are seeking a dedicated and experienced IT Manager to join a reputable hospital based in Karachi, Pakistan. This full-time, on-site position involves overseeing the entire IT infrastructure and operations to ensure smooth and secure functioning of all technology systems. The role operates during the morning shift and offers a competitive salary range of 100,000 to 150,000 PKR. The successful candidate will play a critical role in managing networks, software systems, cybersecurity measures, servers, data backups, CCTV systems, vendor relationships, IT staff, and providing user support across the hospital.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage all hospital IT operations, ensuring systems are reliable, secure, and efficient.
- Maintain and monitor network infrastructure, including routers, switches, and firewalls.
- Manage software systems and applications critical to hospital functions.
- Implement and maintain cybersecurity protocols to protect sensitive data and systems.
- Supervise server management, including installation, configuration, and regular backups.
- Oversee CCTV system operations and maintenance to ensure security compliance.
- Coordinate with external vendors for procurement, maintenance, and support services.
- Lead and mentor the IT staff, assigning tasks and monitoring performance.
- Provide timely technical support and training to hospital users to minimize downtime.
- Develop and enforce IT policies and procedures aligned with organizational goals.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in IT management, preferably in a healthcare environment.
- Strong knowledge of network administration and IT infrastructure management.
- Proven experience in managing cybersecurity frameworks and protocols.
- Ability to lead teams and manage vendor relationships effectively.
Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
- Certifications such as CCNA, ITIL, CISM, CISSP, or PMP are highly desirable and will be considered an advantage.
- Prior exposure to healthcare IT systems and hospital environments is preferred.
