International Petrochemicals Limited is looking for a skilled and responsible IT Officer with practical experience in network management and CCTV systems. The successful candidate will be tasked with maintaining the company’s IT infrastructure, ensuring stable network connectivity, managing surveillance systems, and delivering technical support to various departments. This role requires a hands-on approach to troubleshooting and maintaining both network and security equipment to support smooth daily operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot computer networks, including LAN/WAN, routers, switches, and Wi-Fi systems.
- Install, configure, monitor, and maintain CCTV surveillance systems such as IP cameras, DVRs, and NVRs.
- Ensure proper CCTV recording, camera coverage, and remote monitoring capabilities are functioning effectively.
- Diagnose and resolve network connectivity issues, hardware faults, and other IT-related technical problems promptly.
- Monitor network performance and implement appropriate network security measures to safeguard company data.
- Provide technical support for computers, printers, software applications, email systems, and other IT equipment.
- Maintain accurate records of IT equipment, network devices, CCTV systems, and all maintenance activities.
- Perform routine system updates, backups, and preventive maintenance to ensure system reliability.
- Coordinate with external vendors and service providers for IT equipment repairs and specialized technical support.
- Ensure the overall smooth functioning, security, and reliability of IT infrastructure and surveillance systems.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, Networking, or a related discipline.
- Proven practical experience in network administration and CCTV systems management.
- Strong knowledge of LAN/WAN technologies, IP addressing, routers, switches, and network troubleshooting techniques.
- Hands-on experience with CCTV installation, configuration, monitoring, and maintenance, including familiarity with DVR/NVR systems and IP cameras.
- Understanding of structured cabling and its role in network and surveillance system setups.
- Solid knowledge of computer hardware, Windows operating systems, printers, and general IT support functions.
- Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications and Skills
- Experience with network configuration and monitoring tools to optimize performance and security.
- Understanding of network security protocols and data backup procedures to protect company assets.
- Ability to work independently, managing technical issues efficiently without constant supervision.
- Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail to maintain accurate documentation and system integrity.
The ideal candidate is a technically competent professional capable of independently managing network infrastructure, CCTV surveillance systems, and routine IT support operations. This position requires a proactive individual who can ensure the reliability, security, and efficiency of the company’s IT and surveillance environments.
