IT Officer

We are seeking a skilled IT professional to join our team, responsible for managing and supporting various IT infrastructure components within the organization. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with network devices, storage solutions, application deployment, and user support. This role requires a proactive individual capable of troubleshooting and maintaining systems to ensure smooth daily operations. The position reports to the Supervisor or Senior Management Team and involves a broad range of technical responsibilities to support the company’s IT environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage IT inventory to ensure accurate tracking and availability of hardware and software assets.
- Install and provide ongoing support for Office 365 applications across the organization.
- Deploy and manage PfSense or similar software/hardware firewalls to maintain network security.
- Implement and maintain TrueNAS or equivalent storage solutions for reliable data storage and access.
- Deploy and manage IIS and other web services to support internal and external applications.
- Handle application deployment processes and perform SQL Server backup and recovery operations to safeguard data integrity.
- Deploy and manage network switches, routers, and wireless access points to ensure robust connectivity.
- Provide deployment and support services for systems and network infrastructure.
- Manage printers and other network devices, ensuring proper sharing and functionality across the network.
- Perform regular user data backup and maintenance to prevent data loss.
- Deploy biometric machines and manage attendance systems to support workforce management.
- Troubleshoot LAN and WAN network issues to maintain uninterrupted communication.
- Carry out any additional duties as assigned by the Supervisor or Senior Management Team.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or a closely related field.
- A minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience in IT infrastructure management and support.
