IT Officer

Zoom Marketing Oils (Pvt.) Ltd., based at its Head Office in Lahore, is seeking a skilled and responsible IT Officer to oversee and manage the company’s IT infrastructure. This role involves supervising CCTV and IP camera surveillance systems, handling IP configuration, managing biometric attendance systems, and providing daily IT support across the Head Office and other relevant company locations. The ideal candidate will have hands-on technical expertise, solid troubleshooting skills for both hardware and software, and the ability to ensure the smooth operation of all IT equipment and systems.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage and supervise CCTV cameras, IP cameras, and associated surveillance systems to ensure security and functionality.
- Configure, troubleshoot, and maintain IP addresses, network connectivity, routers, switches, and other networking equipment.
- Oversee biometric attendance machines, including setup, connectivity troubleshooting, and coordination with HR for seamless attendance integration.
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot Windows operating systems, device drivers, software applications, printers, and other peripherals.
- Provide day-to-day IT support to employees, resolving hardware, software, and connectivity issues promptly.
- Maintain IT equipment such as computers, laptops, printers, and scanners, ensuring they are in optimal working condition.
- Monitor network connectivity and maintain smooth IT infrastructure operations at the Head Office and assigned company sites.
- Keep accurate records of IT assets, software licenses, equipment allocation, and maintenance logs.
- Perform basic network troubleshooting, system updates, antivirus scans, and data backup procedures.
- Coordinate with external vendors and service providers for repairs, installations, and technical assistance as needed.
- Ensure proper installation, configuration, and maintenance of IT equipment while adhering to cybersecurity and data protection best practices.
- Prepare regular reports detailing IT issues, equipment status, maintenance activities, and overall system performance.
- Undertake additional IT-related duties as assigned by management.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 2 to 3 years of relevant professional experience in IT support, networking, or IT infrastructure management.
- Practical knowledge of CCTV/IP camera systems, biometric attendance devices, and IP configuration.
- Strong understanding of Windows operating systems, device driver installation, software configuration, and troubleshooting.
- Basic knowledge of LAN/WAN technologies, TCP/IP protocols, routers, switches, Wi-Fi, and network connectivity.
- Ability to diagnose technical problems efficiently and provide timely solutions.
- Good communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
- Capability to manage multiple IT tasks and collaborate effectively with various departments and company locations.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
Candidates with hands-on experience specifically in CCTV/IP camera systems, biometric attendance machines, and networking will be given preference. The position offers a competitive monthly salary ranging from PKR 60,000 to 70,000, commensurate with expertise and experience.
