IT Operations Intern (Paid Internship)

The First Sol (TFS) is seeking a motivated and responsible IT Operations Intern for a paid internship based at their office in Model Town, Lahore. This role offers an excellent opportunity for entry-level candidates eager to gain hands-on experience in server monitoring, system management, and technical operations. The intern will work closely with the CEO and development team, supporting daily technical activities, monitoring systems, reporting issues, and coordinating tasks to ensure smooth operations. This position requires good communication skills, a proactive attitude, and a strong willingness to learn. When the CEO is unavailable, the intern will assist in coordinating technical tasks and following up with the team to maintain workflow continuity.

Key Responsibilities

- Monitor company servers, systems, and technical services to ensure continuous operation.
- Assist with basic troubleshooting and escalate technical issues to the appropriate team members.
- Coordinate with developers and the technical team regarding ongoing tasks, system updates, and project progress.
- Support daily technical operations to maintain efficient workflow across teams.
- Follow up on pending tasks and coordinate with team members in the CEO’s absence.
- Communicate important updates, delays, and technical concerns to the CEO or relevant team leads.
- Identify operational issues and escalate them when necessary.
- Maintain clear and professional communication with both the development and Business Development teams.
- Learn and adhere to company procedures, technical tools, and operational workflows.
- Take ownership of assigned tasks and ensure timely follow-ups.

Required Qualifications

- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Interest in IT operations, system management, servers, and technical support.
- Basic knowledge of computers, internet, or software systems is preferred.
- Basic troubleshooting and problem-solving skills are advantageous.
- Strong coordination and organizational abilities.
- Confidence in communicating with team members and management.
- Willingness to learn new technical tools and processes through training.
- Responsible, proactive, punctual, and capable of handling assigned tasks independently.
