The IT QA & Data Governance Manager plays a critical role in ensuring the quality, accuracy, completeness, and reliability of IT deliverables and enterprise data across all systems. This position is responsible for establishing strong validation, reconciliation, and automation processes to maintain data integrity. The manager will ensure that management dashboards and reports accurately reflect the underlying source systems, supporting effective decision-making and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

- Establish and implement comprehensive QA frameworks for IT systems, dashboards, reports, integrations, and workflows to ensure consistent quality standards.
- Conduct functional, integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT) to verify the accuracy, reliability, and alignment of IT deliverables with business requirements.
- Enforce data governance controls to maintain accurate and timely ERP data across various business functions.
- Monitor and resolve data inconsistencies, reconciliation issues, and reporting discrepancies between ERP systems, business intelligence platforms, and dashboards.
- Define and track service level agreements (SLAs) related to transaction recording, data entry, and period-closing activities to ensure timely and accurate data processing.
- Lead automation initiatives aimed at reducing manual data entry by leveraging system integrations and digitizing workflows.
- Develop and enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs), validation rules, and governance standards to uphold data integrity and reporting consistency.
- Ensure IT projects deliver validated, high-quality outputs within agreed timelines and meet business requirements.
- Identify risks related to data quality and reporting, and implement corrective actions to mitigate these risks.
- Conduct user training sessions to promote accurate data-entry practices and foster a data-driven culture throughout the organization.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 5 to 8 years of experience in IT Quality Assurance, Data Governance, or working with ERP systems.
- Strong knowledge of ERP systems, preferably Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS), SAP, or Salesforce.
- Experience with business intelligence tools such as Power BI and Hyperion.
- Proven expertise in data validation, reconciliation, reporting accuracy, process automation, and system integrations.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to address complex data and system challenges.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications

- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) certification is highly desirable.
