IT Support Engineer - Head Office Karachi

We are seeking a skilled IT professional with a strong foundation in computer hardware and software troubleshooting to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in network administration, including LAN and WAN management, and be proficient in managing Active Directory users and security protocols. This role requires someone who is familiar with data backup and recovery processes and capable of handling email configurations such as POP3 and Outlook. The successful applicant will be responsible for managing the entire ticket lifecycle, ensuring timely updates, thorough documentation, and clear communication of resolutions to end users. Strong communication and problem-solving abilities are essential to thrive in this position.

Key Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to computer hardware and software.
- Administer and manage network infrastructure, including LAN and WAN environments.
- Manage Active Directory user accounts and enforce security best practices.
- Oversee data backup and recovery operations to ensure data integrity and availability.
- Configure and maintain email systems, including POP3 and Outlook setups.
- Handle support tickets from initiation to closure, maintaining accurate status updates and detailed documentation.
- Communicate effectively with end users to provide clear and concise resolutions.

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or relevant certification in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Proven experience in computer hardware and software troubleshooting.
- Demonstrated expertise in network administration and management of LAN/WAN.
- Proficiency in Active Directory user management and security.
- Knowledge of data backup and recovery procedures.
- Experience with email configuration and management.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
