We are seeking a dedicated IT Support Executive with strong problem-solving abilities and excellent communication skills to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive technical support to ensure smooth operation of computer systems and networks within the organization. This role requires hands-on experience with hardware, software, and network troubleshooting, as well as the ability to respond promptly to service requests and technical issues.
Key Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and resolve network and system issues efficiently.
- Install and configure computer hardware, software, systems, networks, printers, and specialized tools such as Microtech.
- Monitor and maintain computer systems and network infrastructure to ensure optimal performance.
- Respond promptly to service issues and user requests, providing timely technical support across the company.
- Set up new user accounts and manage access permissions.
- Repair and replace faulty equipment as necessary to minimize downtime.
- Test and evaluate new technologies to recommend improvements.
- Manage networks and servers, including configuring backup servers to ensure data integrity.
- Provide training and guidance to junior staff members when required.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience in IT support, with a strong understanding of network and system troubleshooting.
- Ability to install, configure, and maintain computer hardware and software.
- Familiarity with network devices, printers, and related technologies.
- Experience managing user accounts and access controls.
- Capability to handle server configurations and backup solutions.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively assist users and collaborate with team members.
- Willingness to work on-site during the specified shift hours from 5 PM to 2 AM.
Preferred Qualifications and Additional Information
- A Bachelor’s degree is preferred but not mandatory.
- Candidates should be able to reliably commute to or plan to relocate to Lahore, specifically DHA Phase 8, before starting work.
- This is a full-time, on-site position requiring presence during the designated shift.
