As an IT Support Executive, you will play a crucial role in providing onsite technical support for hardware, software, and network-related issues. Your responsibilities will include system setup, troubleshooting, assisting end users, and ensuring compliance with IT policies. You will work closely with the IT team to maintain smooth operations and resolve technical problems efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide installation, configuration, and troubleshooting support for computer hardware, software, systems, networks, wireless devices, IP phones, printers, scanners, UPS, and IP cameras.
- Assist users in resolving their computer-related issues promptly and effectively.
- Perform installations and upgrades on all PCs and notebooks.
- Monitor and maintain computer systems and network links to ensure optimal performance.
- Offer endpoint support and ensure antivirus software is properly installed and running on all systems.
- Deliver Tier 1 local application and network support.
- Enforce IT compliance by preventing the installation of unauthorized or illegal software within the company.
- Complete all tasks and responsibilities assigned by the Assistant Manager IT Support.
- Respond promptly to service issues and support requests, providing technical assistance both in person and remotely via phone.
- Set up Active Directory (AD) accounts for new users.
- Repair and replace equipment as necessary to minimize downtime.
- Utilize strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills to resolve technical issues in a timely manner.
- Maintain clear and professional communication with customers through various channels, including web, email, and phone.
- Respond to customer calls and emails, addressing their concerns and providing appropriate solutions.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree is mandatory.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in end-user support.
- At least 1 year of experience in IP camera installation and maintenance.
- Minimum 1 year of experience troubleshooting and configuring thermal printers.
- Willingness to travel daily to the Rawat Chakbeli Road Warehouse location using your own vehicle.
- Ability to work onsite in Rawalpindi.
Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
- Knowledge of NVR/DVR software is preferred but not required.
- Monthly salary range: Rs60,000 to Rs70,000.
- This position requires in-person attendance at the designated work location.
