IT Support Officer

We are seeking a motivated and technically proficient IT Support Officer to oversee and maintain IT systems, networking equipment, and parking management systems across multiple parking sites. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing remote troubleshooting support and conducting on-site visits as needed to ensure seamless and uninterrupted operations. This role requires a hands-on approach to managing hardware, software, and network issues, with a focus on maintaining system reliability and security.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide first-line technical support for hardware, software, and network-related issues.
- Install, configure, and maintain computers, printers, operating systems, and applications.
- Troubleshoot LAN, Wi-Fi, internet connectivity, and other network-related problems.
- Conduct site visits to various parking locations to diagnose and resolve technical issues.
- Maintain IT equipment inventory and ensure accurate technical documentation.
- Perform routine system updates, antivirus scans, and data backups to safeguard systems.
- Coordinate with external vendors for repairs and maintenance of IT equipment.
- Enforce IT security policies and procedures to protect organizational data and infrastructure.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Basic to intermediate knowledge of computer hardware, software, and networking concepts.
- Experience working with Windows operating systems, Microsoft Office suite, printers, and general troubleshooting.
- Willingness and ability to travel to different parking sites for on-site technical support.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and time-management skills.
- Previous experience in an IT support role is preferred but not mandatory.
