IT Support Officer

Meraj Limited, a reputable engineering and manufacturing company specializing in specialized vehicle production and customized engineering solutions, is seeking a proactive and technically skilled IT Support Officer to join its team in Karachi. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive IT support to ensure smooth daily operations, troubleshoot technical issues, and maintain the company’s IT infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day IT support to employees, resolving technical issues promptly and efficiently.
- Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot computer hardware, software, and peripherals.
- Manage and support Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, and Outlook platforms.
- Troubleshoot Windows operating systems, applications, printers, and other IT equipment.
- Oversee basic networking infrastructure, including LAN, Wi-Fi, routers, and switches.
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot CCTV and camera systems.
- Perform software installations, system configurations, updates, and routine maintenance.
- Coordinate with external IT vendors and service providers to ensure timely resolution of issues.
- Maintain accurate records of IT assets and ensure all IT systems function optimally.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science (BSCS) or Information Technology (BSIT).

Preferred Qualifications and Additional Skills
- Relevant IT support experience is highly preferred.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
- Good understanding of hardware, software, and networking concepts.
- Ability to provide hands-on technical support and work independently.
- Networking certifications such as CCNA are an advantage.
- Certifications like CompTIA A+ and Network+ are beneficial.
- Experience with Microsoft 365 Administration.
- Skills in hardware and networking support.
- Knowledge and experience in CCTV installation and networking.
