IT Support Officer

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented IT Support Officer to join our team and ensure the smooth operation of our office IT systems. The successful candidate will provide day-to-day technical support, assisting employees with various IT-related issues. This role requires a foundational understanding of desktop support, networking, hardware troubleshooting, and the use of AI tools to enhance IT support tasks.

Key Responsibilities:
- Install, configure, and maintain Windows operating systems along with standard software applications.
- Provide basic technical support by troubleshooting hardware, software, and connectivity issues.
- Assist in setting up LAN networks, configuring Wi-Fi routers/access points, and performing basic network troubleshooting.
- Install and maintain office hardware, including printers and peripheral devices, ensuring they operate efficiently.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to IT issues, solutions, and equipment inventory.
- Utilize and explore AI tools to support troubleshooting, research, documentation, automation, and overall improvement of daily IT support activities.
- Support employees by addressing their IT-related concerns promptly and effectively.
- Stay informed about emerging technologies and identify tools that can enhance IT support efficiency.

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 0–1 year of experience in IT support or a similar role; fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Basic knowledge of Windows OS installation, configuration, and software deployment.
- Understanding of LAN setup, Wi-Fi routers/access points, and fundamental network troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with office hardware, printers, and peripheral device installation and troubleshooting.
- Good problem-solving abilities and effective communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team and provide timely support to staff.
