Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain high-performance Java applications.
- Collaborate with product managers, architects, and fellow developers to create innovative solutions.
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code.
- Conduct code reviews and provide mentorship to junior developers.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve software defects.
- Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, design, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
- Ensure applications are scalable, reliable, and secure.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 3 to 5 years of experience in Java development.
- Strong knowledge of Java SE, Java EE, and frameworks such as Spring and Hibernate/JPA.
- Experience with RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and application servers like Jetty and Tomcat.
- Proficiency in database technologies including Oracle and PostgreSQL, along with ORM tools.
- Familiarity with front-end technologies such as Vaadin and/or Apache Wicket is a significant advantage.
- Experience with version control systems, particularly Git.
- Solid understanding of software development principles and design patterns.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications and Benefits:
- Domain knowledge in financial technologies.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.
- Certifications in Java or related technologies are considered a plus.
