Java Web Developer

We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Fresh Graduate Java Web Developer to join our development team in Lahore. This role offers a valuable opportunity to build technical skills and gain hands-on experience in web development, Java technologies, database management, and emerging AI-powered development tools. The position is full-time and based on-site, initially for a duration of three months with the potential for full-time employment thereafter.

Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the development team to create and maintain web pages using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, and related technologies.
- Assist in troubleshooting, debugging, and optimizing existing web applications to improve performance and reliability.
- Write clean, efficient, readable, and maintainable code following best practices.
- Learn and adapt to emerging web technologies and AI-powered development practices to stay current in the field.
- Utilize AI coding tools to support code generation, debugging, and streamline development workflows.
- Develop an understanding of Agentic Development, including leveraging AI agents to assist with coding tasks and problem-solving.
- Apply Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts and design patterns to build maintainable and scalable software solutions.
- Support server-side development and maintenance using Java and frameworks such as Spring MVC or Spring Boot.
- Work with Oracle Database and SQL scripts to ensure smooth application functionality and data management.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery.
- Exposure to Java programming and a foundational understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts.
- Basic understanding of databases and SQL scripting.
- Strong problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
- Passion for web development and eagerness to learn new technologies.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
- Familiarity with Java frameworks such as Spring MVC or Spring Boot is a plus.
- Basic knowledge of Agentic Development and AI-assisted coding tools is preferred.
- Experience or familiarity with AI coding platforms like Claude Code or OpenAI Codex is advantageous.
