Funprime Technology is seeking a Junior QA professional who is passionate about delivering high-quality mobile applications. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail and a proactive approach to identifying bugs before they impact users. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with a dynamic team to ensure smooth and successful app releases on both Android and iOS platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform manual testing on Android and iOS mobile applications to ensure functionality and performance.
- Identify, document, and track bugs, issues, and performance bottlenecks throughout the development cycle.
- Collaborate effectively with developers, designers, and project managers to facilitate seamless app releases.
- Conduct various types of testing including functional, regression, usability, and compatibility testing.
- Write and maintain clear and comprehensive test cases, test plans, and detailed reports.
- Verify app functionality across multiple devices, screen sizes, and operating system versions.
- Participate in release validation activities and provide quality assurance sign-offs to confirm readiness for deployment.
Required Qualifications:
- Between 6 months to 1 year of hands-on experience in mobile app testing, specifically on Android and iOS platforms.
- Strong understanding of Quality Assurance processes, Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), and bug lifecycle management.
- Familiarity with testing and issue tracking tools such as Jira, TestRail, or similar platforms.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities combined with strong communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while maintaining a high level of attention to detail.
- This is an onsite position located in Islamabad (I-11/3).
Preferred Qualifications and Benefits:
- Knowledge of Android Studio for APK builds and log analysis is considered a plus.
- Competitive monthly salary ranging from Rs30,000 to Rs40,000.
