Jr. Software Engineer (Java)

We are currently looking for a skilled Back End Java Developer to join our Karachi team. This role involves designing and developing critical websites, applications, and infrastructure components. The ideal candidate will work both independently and collaboratively to deliver advanced solutions that elevate user experiences.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain backend components such as reports, screens, procedures, database schemas, and deployment packages using designated platforms and tools.
- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code adhering to established coding standards.
- Perform unit testing and ensure quality control standards are met before handing projects over to the Quality Control (QC) team.
- Collaborate with Project Managers and Associate Team Leads to plan and implement enhancements and modifications to program code.
- Work closely with the QC team to clarify feature requirements and resolve any development issues promptly.

Required Qualifications:
- 0-1 years of professional experience in software development.
- Strong hands-on experience with Java programming language and frameworks such as Spring and Hibernate.
- Solid understanding of Spring Integration and Spring Microservices frameworks.
- Familiarity with containerization technologies, particularly Docker.
- Experience with gRPC for efficient inter-service communication.
- Basic knowledge of Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) processes and associated tools.
