Junior Accountant

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Junior Accountant to join our Accounts & Finance team in Lahore, Pakistan. This full-time, on-site position offers an excellent opportunity for fresh graduates or early-career professionals eager to develop their skills in accounting and finance. Working under the supervision of a Senior Accountant, the successful candidate will gain hands-on experience in bookkeeping, financial record keeping, reconciliations, and daily accounting operations. The role requires a responsible individual who is punctual, willing to learn, and committed to accuracy in all tasks.

Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate daily accounting and bookkeeping records.
- Record and organize sales, purchases, expenses, receipts, and payments.
- Prepare and maintain invoices, vouchers, receipts, and other financial documents.
- Assist with accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) processes.
- Support bank reconciliation activities and identify discrepancies.
- Maintain ledgers, journals, and supporting financial records.
- Assist the Senior Accountant in preparing financial reports and account summaries.
- Perform accounting data entry using MS Excel and accounting software.
- Organize and maintain accounting files and documentation.
- Support the Accounts & Finance department with routine accounting tasks.
- Carry out additional accounting duties as assigned by the Senior Accountant or management.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, B.Com, BBA, or a related field.
- Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Basic understanding of accounting principles and bookkeeping.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and MS Office applications.
- Good numerical and analytical skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Effective organizational and time-management abilities.
- Responsible, punctual, and eager to learn.
- Ability to work effectively under the guidance of a Senior Accountant.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
- Familiarity with accounting software such as QuickBooks, Peachtree, Tally, or ERP systems is an advantage.
- Starting salary of PKR 30,000 per month.
