Junior Accountant (Remote)

Cordatus Resource Group, a business process outsourcing and consulting firm specializing in accounting, finance, IT, and administrative services, is seeking a Junior Accountant to join its fully remote team. The company supports primarily U.S.-based clients and operates through secure, cloud-based SaaS platforms to deliver accurate and compliant financial services. The Junior Accountant will work closely with internal teams and maintain regular communication with clients in the U.S. to support various accounting functions.

Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the internal team to provide accounting support for clients, including managing Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable.
- Perform bank and credit card reconciliations to ensure accuracy.
- Prepare periodic financial statements in accordance with client requirements.
- Enter invoices and maintain precise financial records using accounting software.
- Utilize accounting platforms to ensure data accuracy, completeness, and compliance with standards.
- Communicate effectively with clients via Zoom and Microsoft Teams.
- Respond promptly to customer and internal queries through email, Slack, and MS Teams live chat.
- Assist the Team Manager with additional accounting and administrative tasks as needed.

Required Qualifications:
- MBA in Finance from a reputable university, OR
- ACCA (Part-Qualified), OR
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting (BSc/BS).
- Strong understanding of accounting and finance fundamentals.
- Proficiency in accounting software and cloud-based systems such as QuickBooks, Xero, or similar platforms, with prior hands-on experience preferred.
- Comfortable using SaaS tools and adaptable to learning new systems.
- Fluent in written and spoken English to communicate effectively with U.S. clients.
- Skilled in MS Word, MS Excel, and other Microsoft Office applications.
- Reliable high-speed internet connection suitable for video and voice calls.
- Availability to work full-time during U.S. business hours (6:00 PM – 3:00 AM Pakistan Time, Monday to Friday).
- This is a fully remote position open only to candidates residing in Pakistan.
