The Junior Architect will play a vital role in supporting the design and delivery of architectural projects from initial concept through to execution. This position involves working closely with senior architects and project teams to prepare drawings and 3D models, assist with design development, and contribute to interior layouts. The Junior Architect will also coordinate design details with consultants and contractors, participate in client meetings, and assist with documentation and presentations. Additionally, the role includes supporting basic project management tasks such as tracking timelines and deliverables. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Lahore, requiring regular collaboration with colleagues and stakeholders both in the office and on project sites.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation of architectural drawings and 3D models to support design development.
- Contribute to interior layout planning and coordination of design details with consultants and contractors.
- Participate in client meetings to understand project requirements and present design ideas.
- Support documentation processes, including preparing presentations and project reports.
- Aid in basic project management activities such as scheduling, tracking deliverables, and coordinating with team members.
- Collaborate closely with senior architects and multidisciplinary teams to ensure design quality and project success.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or a closely related field.
- Strong foundation in architectural design with the ability to contribute to modern and functional design solutions.
- Proficiency in design and drafting software such as AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, or similar platforms.
- Basic 3D visualization skills to support design presentations.
- Understanding of project management principles including scheduling, coordination, and documentation within architectural projects.
- Familiarity with software development and integration as they relate to design tools, BIM platforms, and digital workflows.
- Excellent attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills, capable of working well within multidisciplinary teams.
