Junior Associate

Irfan & Faran Law Associates, based in Karachi, is looking to hire a motivated and disciplined Junior Associate to join their litigation team. This role is ideal for candidates who are career-oriented and eager to develop their expertise in litigation. The position requires hands-on involvement in drafting legal documents and supporting case preparation in both civil and criminal matters.

Key Responsibilities:
- Independently prepare drafts of petitions, applications, written statements, replies, legal notices, and other court documents.
- Conduct thorough legal research and analyze case law relevant to ongoing litigation.
- Assist in case preparation and support the litigation team in court procedures.
- Maintain a professional attitude, demonstrate punctuality, and effectively manage workload under pressure.
- Communicate clearly and professionally in both written and spoken English.

Required Qualifications:
- LL.B. degree from a recognized institution.
- Enrollment as an advocate is encouraged.
- Proven experience in legal drafting with the ability to produce well-structured and legally sound documents.
- Sound knowledge of civil and criminal laws, as well as court procedures.
- Strong legal research skills and case-law analysis capabilities.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits:
- Prior experience in litigation or working within a legal chamber will be considered an advantage.
- Candidates with practical drafting experience who are serious about building a long-term career in litigation will be given preference.
- The position offers a monthly salary ranging from Rs30,000 to Rs50,000.
- Work location is in person at the Karachi office.
