We are seeking a Junior Content Researcher & Scriptwriter to join our AI-powered video production team based in Lahore, Pakistan. This full-time role involves creating engaging video content tailored for European audiences. As a key contributor, you will be responsible for researching ideas, developing compelling scripts, and collaborating closely with our AI Video Editor to bring stories to life. This position is ideal for candidates with 0–2 years of experience who are passionate about storytelling and digital content creation.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough research on topics, trends, and competitor content to generate video ideas that resonate with European viewers.
- Analyze platform performance and video formats (short-form vs. long-form) to recommend strategic content focus areas.
- Write engaging scripts featuring strong hooks, clear structure, and a natural, conversational tone.
- Develop and maintain the content “bible,” including tone of voice, recurring AI characters and personas, visual style, and brand guidelines for client use.
- Provide detailed scene-by-scene descriptions to guide the production team on visual storytelling.
- Monitor video performance metrics and apply insights to enhance future content quality and engagement.
Required Qualifications
- Excellent written English skills, essential for effectively communicating with a European audience.
- A natural storyteller with an understanding of what keeps viewers engaged.
- Strong research abilities, capable of digging into topics, verifying sources, and distinguishing facts from noise.
- Genuine curiosity about European culture, trends, and online content consumption habits.
- Comfortable using AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, and Perplexity for research and drafting, while maintaining an authentic writing voice.
- Educational background or relevant experience in mass communication, media studies, marketing, English literature, journalism, or a related field, or a strong portfolio demonstrating equivalent skills.
Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
- Experience writing for platforms like YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, or blogs, including personal projects.
- Knowledge of a European language such as German, French, Dutch, or Spanish is advantageous but not mandatory.
