Junior Data Analyst

Location: DHA Phase 1, Lahore
Working Hours: 3 PM to 12 AM
Employment Type: Full-Time
Experience Required: Minimum 1 year

We are seeking a Junior Data Analyst who is detail-oriented and analytical, with at least one year of relevant experience. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in SQL, Power BI, and Python. This role involves analyzing datasets, generating actionable insights, and creating reports and dashboards to support data-driven decision-making within the organization. The candidate should be comfortable working with large volumes of data and collaborating with different teams to meet business requirements.

Key Responsibilities
- Collect, clean, validate, and analyze data from various sources to ensure accuracy and reliability.
- Write and optimize SQL queries to extract, filter, and manipulate data efficiently.
- Develop interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI to visualize key metrics.
- Utilize Python for data analysis, preprocessing tasks, and automating routine workflows.
- Identify trends, patterns, and anomalies within datasets to support strategic decisions.
- Prepare regular reports and clearly communicate findings to relevant stakeholders.
- Maintain data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across all reporting systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and deliver actionable insights.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Business Analytics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 1 year of professional experience in data analysis or a similar role.
- Strong proficiency in SQL, Power BI, and Python.
- Experience with Python libraries such as Pandas and NumPy is preferred.
- Solid understanding of data visualization techniques, data cleaning processes, and basic statistical concepts.
- Ability to interpret complex data and present findings in a clear and concise manner.
- Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in developing Power BI dashboards and building data models.
- Familiarity with Excel and advanced data reporting techniques.
- Basic knowledge of ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes and database management.
