Key Responsibilities:
- Develop engaging and visually appealing eCommerce websites tailored to client needs.
- Implement advanced features and functionalities to optimize the performance and user experience of Shopify stores.
- Collaborate effectively with designers, project managers, and clients to fully understand project requirements and deliver solutions that exceed expectations.
- Optimize Shopify websites for maximum speed, scalability, and overall performance.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to Shopify websites and third-party integrations.
- Conduct regular code reviews and provide constructive feedback to maintain high code quality and adherence to best practices.
- Stay informed about the latest trends, tools, and best practices in Shopify development and the broader eCommerce landscape.
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of development experience, including Shopify theme customization and app integration.
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Strong understanding of eCommerce principles and industry best practices.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities with keen attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
- Strong communication skills, capable of explaining technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Preferred Qualifications and Benefits:
- Experience with version control systems such as Git.
- Familiarity with Shopify-specific tools like Script Editor, Flows, and Checkout Extensibility is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of SEO best practices tailored for eCommerce websites.
- Understanding of UX/UI design principles to enhance user engagement.
- Experience working with other eCommerce platforms such as BigCommerce, Webflow, Squarespace, and WooCommerce.
- Exposure to continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
