The Junior Estimator role is a full-time, on-site position located in Lahore. This role supports the preparation of accurate cost estimates for various projects and services. Responsibilities include reviewing project requirements, analyzing relevant data and documentation, and assisting senior team members in developing detailed estimates. The Junior Estimator will prepare basic quantity take-offs, maintain estimation records, and update pricing and vendor information databases. Collaboration with internal teams to clarify project specifications and respond to estimation-related queries is essential. The role also involves ensuring timely submission of bids and proposals. This position offers valuable exposure to industry best practices and client projects, providing a foundation for growth into more advanced estimating roles.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the preparation of accurate cost estimates by reviewing project requirements and analyzing data.
- Assist senior estimators in developing detailed and comprehensive project estimates.
- Prepare basic quantity take-offs and maintain organized estimation records.
- Update and manage pricing databases and vendor information to ensure current data.
- Collaborate with internal teams to clarify project specifications and resolve estimation queries.
- Ensure timely submission of bids and proposals in alignment with project deadlines.

Required Qualifications
- Strong analytical and numerical skills with the ability to interpret project documents and translate data into clear cost estimates.
- Proficiency in spreadsheets and familiarity with basic estimation or project management software.
- Comfortable working with databases and pricing tools to maintain accurate records.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills for clear collaboration and documentation.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Ability to learn quickly, follow structured processes, and work reliably in an on-site, team-oriented environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Finance, Business, or a related field is preferred.
