Junior Librarian

We are seeking a Junior Librarian to join our Engineering Department based in Karachi. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree and 1 to 2 years of relevant experience. This role involves managing digital archives and media storage systems, ensuring accurate documentation, and supporting the team in maintaining efficient record-keeping processes. The position requires someone who is detail-oriented, organized, and capable of working effectively under pressure to meet deadlines. This is an in-person role located in Karachi.

Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain a basic understanding of digital archive systems and media storage technologies.
- Support workflows involving LTO systems and broadcast storage (preferred).
- Demonstrate strong organizational and documentation skills to manage records systematically.
- Work efficiently under pressure and adhere to deadlines.
- Pay close attention to detail in record management processes.
- Possess basic knowledge of video editing software (preferred).

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Archives & Records Management or a related field.
- 1 to 2 years of relevant experience in a similar role.
- Good communication skills and the ability to build professional relationships.
- Strong organizational abilities and a systematic approach to managing records.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with LTO systems and broadcast storage workflows.
- Basic knowledge of video editing software and related tools.
