Junior Manager - Accounts

We are seeking a Junior Manager – Accounts to join our team at a Feedlot and Agri Farm located in Muzaffargarh. This role involves supporting various accounting functions essential to the smooth financial operations of the farm. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing daily cash flows, and ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and internal policies. This position requires close coordination with multiple departments including Farm Operations, Procurement, and vendors to facilitate efficient financial management.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare financial reports and maintain precise accounting records to support decision-making processes.
- Manage petty cash, farm-related expenses, and daily labor payments efficiently.
- Prepare purchase orders and process purchase requisitions to ensure timely procurement.
- Verify invoices, process Goods Received Notes (GRNs), and track payments to maintain accurate accounts payable records.
- Maintain detailed records of livestock, feed, medicines, and vaccines to support inventory management.
- Monitor livestock induction and dispatch records to ensure proper documentation and control.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal financial policies to uphold organizational integrity.
- Coordinate effectively with Farm Operations, Procurement, Accounts teams, and external vendors to streamline financial workflows.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Business, Finance, or a related discipline is essential. A Master’s degree will be considered an added advantage.
- 1 to 2 years of relevant experience in accounting roles, preferably within agriculture or related sectors.
- Hands-on experience in cash management, purchase order processing, accounts payable, and inventory management.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in maintaining financial records and reports.
- Solid understanding of accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal financial controls.
- Good coordination and communication skills to work collaboratively across departments.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications is required; experience with ERP systems will be advantageous.

Work Location: This is an in-person position based at the farm in Muzaffargarh.
