Junior Mechanical Engineer/Trainee

We are seeking a motivated and analytical B.Sc. Mechanical Engineering graduate to join our team as an entry-level engineer. In this role, you will work closely with senior engineers to assist in the design, testing, maintenance, and troubleshooting of mechanical systems and equipment. This position offers a valuable opportunity for fresh graduates to develop their skills and gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced engineering environment.

Key Responsibilities:
- Design & Drafting: Assist in creating 2D and 3D engineering models, layouts, and detailed fabrication or assembly drawings using CAD software such as AutoCAD and SolidWorks.
- Maintenance & Operations: Support routine servicing, breakdown troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance of mechanical machinery alongside the plant or maintenance teams.
- Testing & Quality Control: Participate in testing procedures, collect data, and conduct quality inspections to ensure components meet technical specifications.
- Technical Documentation: Prepare daily shift reports, maintenance logs, technical documentation, and basic material take-offs (MTO).
- Project Support: Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Electrical, Production, and Procurement to facilitate timely project execution and site coordination.
- Continuous Learning: Quickly acquire knowledge of company standards, safety protocols, and industry codes such as ASME, ISO, and ASTM while performing assigned tasks.

Required Qualifications:
- Education: B.Sc. or B.E. degree in Mechanical Engineering from an HEC-recognized university.
- Experience: 0 to 1 year of experience. Fresh graduates with strong final year projects or relevant internships are encouraged to apply.
- Software Proficiency: Basic to intermediate skills in CAD tools like AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or PTC Creo. Familiarity with simulation software such as ANSYS or FEA is an advantage.
- Technical Knowledge: Solid understanding of core mechanical engineering subjects including Thermodynamics, Fluid Mechanics, Machine Design, Mechanics of Materials, and Heat Transfer.
