Capital Smart City, a premier housing development by FDHL designed to address the increasing residential needs in the twin cities region, is seeking a dedicated Medical Officer to join its healthcare team. This full-time, on-site position is based at the Royal Smart City Hospital in Rawalpindi. The Medical Officer will play a vital role in providing comprehensive medical care to residents and staff within the community. The role involves conducting medical examinations, diagnosing and treating common illnesses and injuries, prescribing appropriate medications, and ensuring effective follow-up care to promote patient health and well-being.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform thorough medical examinations and assessments of patients presenting with a variety of health concerns.
- Diagnose and manage common medical conditions, including acute illnesses and minor injuries.
- Prescribe medications and treatment plans in accordance with clinical guidelines.
- Provide counseling and advice to patients on health maintenance and disease prevention.
- Manage emergency cases with prompt clinical assessment and appropriate interventions.
- Maintain accurate and detailed medical records and documentation.
- Collaborate with healthcare staff and other departments to ensure coordinated patient care.
- Uphold ethical standards and confidentiality in all patient interactions.
- Participate in continuous professional development activities to stay current with medical advancements.
- Support community health initiatives within the residential setting.

Required Qualifications

- MBBS degree from a recognized medical institution.
- Current registration with the relevant medical council.
- Minimum of one year of clinical experience; fresh graduates with strong academic records are encouraged to apply.
- Solid knowledge of primary care, emergency medicine, and community health practices.
- Proven ability to diagnose, treat, and manage a range of common medical conditions.
- Demonstrated skills in patient care, including accident and emergency management, clinical assessment, counseling, and follow-up.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working effectively in a diverse and fast-paced environment.
- Strong documentation and record-keeping abilities.
- Commitment to ethical medical practice and adherence to established clinical protocols.
