Junior Oracle Database Administrator

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Junior Oracle DBA to join our team in Lahore. This role offers an excellent opportunity for fresh graduates or candidates with up to one year of experience who are eager to develop practical skills in Oracle Database Administration. The position is based at our offices in Jallo Mor Lahore and Al Hafeez Heights Gulberg Lahore, with in-person work required. Candidates should be prepared to reliably commute or relocate to Lahore before starting.

Key Responsibilities
- Assist in Oracle database administration and routine maintenance tasks.
- Monitor database performance and ensure availability.
- Support backup and recovery operations to safeguard data integrity.
- Execute basic SQL queries and perform essential database operations.
- Help troubleshoot database issues under the guidance of senior DBAs.
- Maintain accurate database documentation and adhere to security protocols.
- Collaborate with senior team members to support ongoing database management activities.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Basic understanding of Oracle Database and SQL fundamentals.
- Familiarity with core database concepts and operations.
- Knowledge of shell scripting is required.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Demonstrated willingness to learn and work with Oracle technologies.
- Fresh graduates are highly encouraged to apply.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
- Basic knowledge of PL/SQL is considered a plus.
- Monthly salary range: Rs 20,000 to Rs 25,000.
