Junior Project Manager - Software Development

We are seeking a motivated and organized Junior Project Manager to support and coordinate software development projects. This role involves managing day-to-day tasks, tracking project progress, and ensuring timely delivery. The ideal candidate will have a foundational understanding of software development processes, strong communication skills, and the ability to effectively coordinate with developers, QA engineers, and other team members to keep projects on track.

Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate daily activities and tasks among developers, QA engineers, and other team members to ensure smooth workflow.
- Create, assign, and monitor project tasks using project management tools.
- Track project timelines, milestones, and overall development progress to meet deadlines.
- Follow up with team members regularly to ensure timely completion of assigned tasks.
- Identify potential delays, blockers, and risks, and communicate these issues promptly to senior management.
- Work closely with the QA team to ensure thorough testing and timely resolution of any issues.
- Maintain accurate project documentation, progress reports, and task updates.
- Participate in project meetings and provide clear updates to relevant stakeholders.
- Assist senior management with project planning, resource allocation, and delivery oversight.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, or a related field.
- 1 to 2 years of experience in project coordination or project management, preferably within a software development environment.
- Basic understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
- Familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies.
- Practical experience using project management tools such as ClickUp, Jira, or Trello.
- Strong communication, coordination, and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and ensure deadlines are met.
- Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
