We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a QA Intern, with the potential to advance into a Junior QA Engineer role upon successful completion of the internship and a positive performance evaluation. Key Responsibilities
- Assist in creating and executing manual test cases derived from functional specifications and user stories.
- Conduct functional, regression, and performance testing on web and mobile platforms.
- Collaborate closely with development and product teams to ensure clear understanding and fulfillment of product requirements.
- Identify, document, and track defects using bug tracking tools such as Jira.
- Participate actively in sprint meetings and support continuous improvement efforts within the QA process.
- Maintain and update test cases to reflect new features and changing requirements.
- Perform cross-browser testing to verify compatibility across different platforms.
- Help maintain testing documentation and adhere to best practices.
- Support the team’s transition toward automated testing by assisting with related efforts.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Basic knowledge of the software development life cycle (SDLC) and various testing methodologies.
- Familiarity with manual testing processes, defect tracking, and testing tools such as Jira, TestRail, or Selenium.
- Understanding of web and mobile application testing principles.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- High attention to detail and the capability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- A genuine passion for learning and continuously improving software testing skills.
