Junior Software Engineer

The Junior Software Engineer role is a full-time, on-site position based in Islamabad. This role involves assisting in the design, development, testing, and maintenance of software solutions that support client operations. Responsibilities include working on back-end services and integrating existing platforms. The engineer will write clean, maintainable code, implement object-oriented designs, fix bugs, and participate in code reviews under the mentorship of senior engineers. Collaboration with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, document technical work, and support deployments and system maintenance is also essential. Key Responsibilities
- Assist in designing, developing, testing, and maintaining software solutions supporting client operations.
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following object-oriented principles.

Required Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Computer Science, including data structures, algorithms, and core software engineering concepts.
- Practical experience with programming and object-oriented programming (OOP) in at least one modern language such as Java, C#, Python, or JavaScript.
- Understanding of software development practices including version control, testing, debugging, and documentation.
- Basic experience or coursework in back-end web development, including building APIs, working with databases, and integrating services.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Ability to work collaboratively in an on-site team environment and communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
