Junior technical / electrical technician

Mass Technologies Co. is seeking a motivated and hardworking Junior UPS Technician / Electrical Technician to join our Technical Services & Field Operations team. This full-time position is based in Shahrah-e-Faisal, Karachi, with working hours from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM. The ideal candidate will have basic electrical or mechanical knowledge, a willingness to learn, and the ability to work both indoors and outdoors. Responsibilities include assisting with UPS installation, troubleshooting, maintenance, repair support, battery replacement, and providing on-site technical services at various customer locations such as hospitals, laboratories, offices, and commercial facilities.

Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the installation, testing, commissioning, and maintenance of UPS systems.
- Support senior technicians in troubleshooting, fault diagnosis, and repair of UPS equipment.
- Perform battery replacement, battery connections, and basic battery testing under supervision.
- Assist with the installation of electrical equipment, cables, wiring, and related accessories.
- Help with the loading, unloading, movement, and safe handling of UPS systems, batteries, and technical tools.
- Visit customer sites for installation, preventive maintenance, inspections, and repair services.
- Assist in the installation and servicing of electrical and power backup equipment.
- Follow technical instructions, workplace safety procedures, and customer-site requirements.
- Maintain tools, equipment, and basic service records.
- Travel within Karachi and occasionally to other cities for installation or service assignments.
- Work flexible hours when project demands or customer schedules require.

Required Qualifications
- Matriculation, Intermediate, or DAE in Electrical, Electronics, or Mechanical Technology is preferred.
- Fresh candidates with relevant technical knowledge are encouraged to apply.
- Basic understanding of electrical wiring, batteries, tools, and electrical safety practices.
- Interest in UPS systems, power backup solutions, and technical fieldwork.
- Willingness to learn from senior technicians and develop practical skills.
- Physically fit to handle equipment and batteries safely using proper lifting techniques.
- Comfortable working in various environments including indoors, outdoors, and at customer locations.
- Willingness to travel outside Karachi when required.
- Punctual, responsible, hardworking, and professional in customer interactions.
- A valid motorcycle driving license and personal transport is an advantage.
