We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Tender Specialist to join our team in Islamabad. This full-time, onsite role supports our expanding tender and proposal operations for both local and international opportunities. The ideal candidate will have between six months to one year of relevant experience and will work Monday through Friday.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in identifying and reviewing Requests for Proposals (RFPs), Requests for Quotations (RFQs), Requests for Information (RFIs), tenders, and other procurement opportunities. Review tender documents carefully to understand scope, eligibility criteria, submission requirements, and deadlines. Support the preparation and maintenance of compliance checklists and tender trackers to ensure all requirements are met. Coordinate with internal teams to gather technical, commercial, company, and supporting documentation necessary for tender submissions. Assist in drafting tender responses, proposals, and related supporting documents, ensuring all submissions are complete, accurate, and aligned with tender specifications. Conduct basic market and procurement research to identify relevant opportunities and maintain organized records of submitted tenders, deadlines, clarifications, and outcomes. Support the team by monitoring government, corporate, and international procurement portals for new opportunities. Assist with proofreading, formatting, and quality checks prior to submission. Follow up on missing information and liaise with stakeholders to meet deadlines. Utilize MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and PDF tools efficiently for tender documentation.
Required Qualifications
A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, IT, Marketing, Management, or a related field is essential. Candidates should have approximately one year of experience in tender management, procurement, proposals, business development, or related areas. A basic understanding of RFPs, RFQs, tenders, bids, and proposal processes is required. Strong attention to detail and excellent document management skills are necessary. Good written and verbal communication skills in English are important. The ability to manage multiple deadlines and work in a structured environment is critical. Proficiency in MS Office applications, particularly Word and Excel, is expected.
Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
Familiarity with government procurement portals or tender platforms is considered an advantage. Exposure to AI tools such as ChatGPT or Copilot for research, document review, and drafting will be beneficial. This role is specifically focused on tender and proposal management, so candidates should have a genuine interest in procurement, tender documentation, proposal preparation, and business development processes. It is important to note that this is not a general content-writing or digital marketing position.
