Junior Video Editor - Night Shift

The Ranking Geeks (TRG) is seeking a creative and detail-oriented Junior Video Editor to join our dynamic team. This position is perfect for someone with a foundational understanding of video editing who is passionate about visual storytelling and eager to enhance their skills. You will collaborate closely with our content and marketing teams to produce engaging videos for social media platforms, digital marketing campaigns, and various content projects, ensuring consistent quality and adherence to brand standards.

Key Responsibilities:
- Edit and assemble raw footage into compelling, well-structured videos.
- Produce short-form video content tailored for platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and other social media channels.
- Incorporate transitions, text overlays, subtitles, music, sound effects, and basic motion graphics as needed.
- Follow creative briefs, brand guidelines, and incorporate feedback from the team effectively.
- Organize video files, project assets, and editing timelines in an efficient manner.
- Make necessary revisions to enhance pacing, visual quality, and overall storytelling impact.
- Collaborate with content creators, designers, and marketing team members to meet project deadlines.
- Stay informed about the latest video editing techniques, social media formats, and content trends.

Required Qualifications:
- Basic to intermediate proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, CapCut, or DaVinci Resolve.
- Solid understanding of video pacing, transitions, audio synchronization, and visual storytelling principles.
- Familiarity with social media video formats and aspect ratios.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions and incorporate feedback.
- Effective time management skills and a proactive attitude toward learning.
- A portfolio or samples of previous video editing work are preferred; personal projects and practice edits are also welcomed.
