Junior WordPress Developer

Ozbix IT Solutions is a forward-thinking digital agency specializing in customized IT and web solutions for a global clientele. We are currently looking for a skilled WordPress Developer to join our growing team. The successful candidate will play a key role in designing and developing high-quality, scalable, and visually engaging websites that align with client requirements and industry best practices.

Key Responsibilities
Develop, customize, and maintain WordPress websites to ensure optimal functionality and user experience. Create and modify custom themes and plugins as needed. Convert PSD or Figma designs into fully responsive WordPress themes that work seamlessly across devices. Troubleshoot and resolve website issues promptly to maintain high performance. Optimize websites for speed, overall performance, and SEO standards. Ensure cross-browser and mobile compatibility. Collaborate closely with designers, SEO specialists, and project managers to deliver integrated and effective solutions.

Required Qualifications
A minimum of 2 years of practical experience in WordPress development is essential. Proficiency in PHP, MySQL, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery is required. Experience in developing custom themes and plugins is expected. Familiarity with popular page builders such as Elementor, WPBakery, or Gutenberg is necessary. A strong understanding of WordPress security measures, performance optimization techniques, and SEO principles is critical. The ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines is important. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills are a must.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
Experience with Git or other version control systems is advantageous. Knowledge of REST APIs and third-party integrations will be considered a plus.
