Junior WORDPRESS / PHP DEVELOPER

SkyPlay Media Pvt. Ltd. is an early-stage performance marketing and Ad-Tech startup focused on building scalable and impactful digital solutions. As we embark on this journey, we are developing modern digital platforms, internal systems, and web-based tools to support our expanding ecosystem. We are seeking a dedicated WordPress/PHP Developer to join our team full-time on-site. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in WordPress and PHP development, with a focus on writing clean, efficient code and optimizing database performance.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain custom WordPress themes and plugins tailored to business needs.
- Build and manage PHP-based websites and internal tools, ensuring robust functionality.
- Work extensively with MySQL databases, including writing complex queries and optimizing database performance.
- Debug, optimize, and maintain existing codebases to improve stability and efficiency.
- Implement best practices related to security and performance to safeguard applications and enhance user experience.

Required Qualifications
- 2 to 3 years of professional experience in WordPress and PHP development.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of PHP versions 7.4 and above, including Object-Oriented Programming (OOP).
- Solid experience working with WordPress core, including theme and plugin development.
- Proficiency in MySQL database design and query optimization.
- Good knowledge of front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Ability to troubleshoot, debug, and optimize website functionality effectively.
- Familiarity with Git version control and collaborative development workflows.
- Comfortable working in a dynamic startup environment, adapting quickly to changing priorities.
- Ability to leverage AI tools and technologies to enhance development processes.
